New Jersey is blessed with an abundance of outdoor and urban recreational opportunities, world-class athletic teams and sporting events, and cultural attractions. The NJCM supports state and federal progr ams (including the establishment of a cabinet-level position focused on culture and tourism) that preserve our nation’s natural resources and promote tourism both domestically and overseas. We recognize the significant contribution these activities make in terms of economic development, employment and quality of life, and fully support their advancement.
