The New Jersey Conference of Mayors is dedicated to improving the quality of life for New Jersey children and families. We support meaningful health care reform that will help control the prohibitive cost of medical care and ensure everyone – regardless of their age, gender, race or economic situation – access to the best health care possible. We will work to promote the early detection, prevention and cure of 20 diseases such as breast cancer, prostate cancer and HIV/AIDS. We fully endorse programs to accurately quantify and eliminate poverty and t o seek adequate food, clothing and shelter for every adult, child and family in New Jersey.
